Elder Scrolls Blades gets a new patch for Switch motion controls

Cutty cut.

Do you enjoy playing Elder Scrolls Blades on your Switch but wish it were a bit more like a Wii game encouraging you to swing your arm around and pretend it was an actual sword? It was a video game and a workout! If so, the good news is that the game’s latest patch allows Switch players access to motion controls, holding ZL or ZR to start attacking and allowing you to just keep hacking away. You will… probably want to make sure your console is docked first, though.

The majority of the patch is for bug fixes, of course, both addressing a number of items not displaying correctly on Switch and performance issues on specific Android chipsets. So it’s not a content patch, but if you can sit in your living room and pretend to smash skeletons, isn’t that really a form of content? We’re going to say yes.
