Well, this is a decision that will no doubt draw forth reasoned discourse and carefully formatted reactions: Console players of Black Desert will be the first players in the Western versions of the game to get the new Hashashin class, which will arrive this coming Wednesday, July 22nd, as a timed exclusive.
For anyone who’s not familiar with this class, the Hashashin is capable of manipulating sandstorms to attack, teleport, and ambush enemies, utilizing the Shamshir sword to slice up his foes. The class was first unveiled during the Heidel Ball.
Why are console players getting this class first? As explained in a developer post, the Guardian class’ arrival to the console version has to be delayed, and so PS4 and Xbox One players are getting the Hashashin first as an apology. While players will have to wait a few days to play the Hashashin, they can pre-create one right now and get a bunch of rewards for doing so such as an inventory expansion coupon, a Black Cloaked Cat pet, and Secret Book of Old Moon and Blessed Message Scroll boost items.
As for when PC players will get the Hashashin, we’re not sure yet, but it’s already on the test center, so you can go check it out too.
