A while back my husband was playing Overwatch when he was in a match with two guys who obviously knew each other and both had poop-related names. At the end of the match, after my husband’s team had lost and the poop team had won, the pair of them cheerfully shouted, “YEAH, GET POOPED ON!” Definitely bizarre and a smidge embarrassing. I mean, you lost to these weirdos, but… at least they were entirely committed to the bit?
OK, so that’s not an MMO, but MMOs surely have weird fails like this, and let’s be honest, I just wanted to tell the “get pooped on!” victory cheer story because I giggle every time I think about it.
