Trove and RIFT celebrate Gamigo’s 20th anniversary, ArcheAge seeks community ambassador volunteers

The festivities to mark Gamigo’s 20th anniversary are continuing to roll on in Trove and RIFT, with each game theming the next phase of its in-game celebrations after cleaning a celebration spot. Because nothing says “party” quite like cleaning!

In specific, Trove players are tasked with clearing out the Thallasian dragon as often as possible, with the top 10 players getting a number Anniversary Points. Over in RIFT, players are being issued a screenshot challenge where their character is dealing with a spider monster. Wee!

In other Gamigo MMO news unrelated to the celebration, ArcheAge is putting out the call for volunteer community ambassadors, touting the program as “a crucial first step in getting into the gaming industry and obtaining paid employment within the gaming industry in the future” and the opportunity for fans to help the game’s community. The task list effectively reads like an unpaid CM internship, with potential candidates responsible for moderation of Twitch and Discord, solving player disputes, and listening to player concerns.

Sounds like an easy “job” to me… I mean with no one playing the game you dont need to worry about people complaining. If they paid I’d be willing to do it.

Already enough of a masochist to play ArcheAge to begin with? Take your game to the next level by working for us for free!

By interacting with the community!

My god, i know people who will enjoy a punch to the gut and they’ll stay clear of this.

Sell Rift to a company that actually wants to do something with it. Useless waste of space company.

Why should these games be celebrating anything for Gamigo, company hasn’t done Jack Shit for Rift since acquiring it; personally I hope none of the players are submitting any screen shots, you don’t reward abuse and make no mistake Neglect is a form of abuse.

Absolutely. Screenshot challenge in Rift? I bet they had a laugh coming up with this one.

That’s all Gamigo does in terms of events – they do some contests. In Ironsight at one point they made a skin design content so they can have players work for free to create skins for them so they don’t have to do anything.

Gamigo are probably worse than Nexon as a publisher in my opinion.

I’m highly sure if quacks, it’s a duck.

This is a PvP-centric game. being a CM in a PvP-centric game sounds like pure masochism. And unpaid? Zero whole dollars, oh my god, hold me back.
