I don’t want a lot for Christmas, there is just one thing I need
I don’t care about the presents underneath the Christmas tree
A little something for my own, more than I have ever known
Make my wish come true
All I want for Christmas
Is
A cool million dollars
Five separate sports cars so I can smash the windshield on one of them and not even care about it
A crowbar to do the windshield smashing on Christmas morning
The legal right and magical ability to annihilate people with bad takes
A lengthy list of video game and action figure prototypes
Diplomatic immunity
The end of my neighbor’s yappy dog
A large truck to deliver my sports cars, one of which will be rammed repeatedly into my neighbor’s car by accident even though I clearly know what I am doing
Carpentry lessons
Better What Are You Playing jokes
And you, I guess, that’d be nice too
Baby

Bonus question: Is there anything you’re hoping to receive during this holiday season?

Andrew Ross (@dengarsw): Pokemon Go for the Mime (and much needed seasonal exercise), Animal Crossing to decorate, and finally trying Among Us so I kind of know what to do for an online party on Monday.

Honestly, I’d just like to hear from the people I miss this holiday season. I don’t think I can reasonably expect anything more the way this year went.

Brianna Royce (@nbrianna, blog): I seriously doubt I will get to play much this weekend – I’ve started in on cleaning and painting the new house! If I get to sit down at all, maybe I’ll shovel some Star Wars Galaxies Legends or City of Heroes into my brain while I eat or something. That’s how I’ve been squeezing in fun so far. I got my Lord of the Rings Online patched up too, but it’ll probably be waiting until after the move for me to really dive back in.

Didn’t ask for much this year. My first real house is more than enough. What I really need is more time!

Chris Neal (@wolfyseyes, blog): A fair bit of Elite Dangerous. My wingmate has unfolded a whole world of tools and resources that have made something as simple as space trucking a lot more logistically interesting, and I bought myself a TrackIR which has enhanced my immersion and piloting ability in the game by huge leaps and bounds. There will also be some little alt class leveling and RP to be had in Final Fantasy XIV, and probably a bit of Dungeons & Dragons Online for funsies.

Bonus question: I legitimately am hard-pressed to think of anything I personally want for the holidays. Maybe more time to myself. That’d be flippin’ magical.

Eliot Lefebvre (@Eliot_Lefebvre, blog): I’m trying out Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky after a Twitter poll, so I’ll mostly be playing that between stuff in FFXIV. That’s going to pretty well handle me through the weekend.

I don’t feel it’s fair to say that all I really want to get is a smile on my wife’s face from the gifts I give her, but I know every year she gets anxious about at least one or two gifts she’s gotten me. So more than anything I want to open those and show her how much I appreciate her thinking of me. Which is still basically wishing for her happiness, but what can I say?

Mia DeSanzo (@neschria): I have had a trying few weeks, but I am hoping for some downtime this weekend. I will probably play some Genshin Impact with family and Frostpunk on my own.

The only things I want for Christmas are better health and/or better financial situations for everyone I know and love. And even for the people I just tolerate.

Tyler Edwards (blog): New Iron Harvest DLC! I’m hyped. Beyond that, I’ve got a Curse of Strahd game, I’m nearly finished the campaign on my Chronicle character in Wolcen, and I was thinking of checking out Call of the Sea on Gamepass.

Bonus question: Better mental health? Or does it need to be something I actually have a chance of getting?
