If for some reason you’re angling to buy cosmetics for a game that hasn’t released yet – and let’s be real, MMO players are known for doing just that – then you’re going to want to peek at PWE’s Magic Legends reveal today. The company is apparently selling a new Planeswalker Bundle for the game, which is set to hit open beta in March. The bundle includes five color-themed themed gear sets for any toon, five alternate skins for some signature summoning spells (i.e., it makes your earth elemental looks like an obsidian elemental), and the “exclusive” Gilded Lotus Artifact (and its own alt skin).
The hook here is that the price for this will presumably double eventually (we don’t know exactly when), so at $39.99 it’s half off right now and could jump to $80 later. If you know you’re going to buy it no matter how many judgmental frowny-faces we cast your way, now is probably the time. Everything unlocks for the open beta on March 23rd “and will carry on to the launch of the game,” a hard date for which we still do not have.
