Secret World Legends players report worrisome login issues – Funcom’s on the case

Players are waking up to find one Secret World Legends mystery that not even they can solve: issues connecting to the game server itself. Some players are reporting that both the Steam and non-Steam versions are receiving “cannot contact to login server” messages, with the issue persisting several hours now.

The mostly dormant Secret World Legends Twitter account has not acknowledged the problem or given an update on a solution.

Since we’re looking at Steam numbers anyway, the MMO has continued to trail off in players, going from a peak of 3,740 back in August 2017 down to a peak of just 174 during this past month on Valve’s platform.

Just as a reminder, the last time that Secret World Legends got a major story content update was back in 2018. And if you miss what came before Legends, we’ve confirmed that the original Secret World server is still up and operating with its own dedicated community.
