The Daily Grind: Do you like it when MMO quests follow up with you afterward?

One neat little feature that I always appreciated about Star Wars: The Old Republic is that sometimes you would get these little codas to your quests through the in-game mail. You’d open up your inbox and see so-and-so thanking you for your help, or adding a bit on to the end of the story, or even gifting you a trinket. I liked it because so often, once you’re done helping an NPC do a quest, it’s like that character drops you from its attention entirely.

Do you like it when MMO quests follow up with you afterward, either with notes, characters mentioning your exploits in the passing, or some other form of continuation? What are your favorite games that do this?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
