The newest hardcore season for Dungeons and Dragons Online is going live on May 17th, but before then Standing Stone Games used its usual Friday livestream to offer up a quick look at some of the rewards waiting for those who take up the challenge.
Some of the goodies that got direct previews include a new set of golden footprints that get left behind by a character, a new eye glow (which initially wasn’t working right on the dev’s character), and a pair of fancy-looking new capes.
The stream also confirmed additional details about the new hardcore season including an end date of July 18th and that level gating for Season 8 would be +2. Other details like the full reward list for the next hardcore season will be added to the announcement post at a later time. The stream otherwise features an hour of regular gameplay and some live chat Q&A, all of which can be viewed below the cut.
