The Lance Dur season of early access tactical MMO Waven that started last month continues today with Chapter 2: Belladonna, the second portion of the three-part season that brings the titular new boss fight and an associated battle pass refresh.
“The specter of Cire Momore is gone, and now it’s time to face off against the one whose magic has bewitched so many unlucky adventurers over the centuries… Like the flower of the same name, Belladonna is as beautiful as she is deadly, and her poison could be the death of you.”
Just like last month’s fight against Cire Momore, the Belladonna face-off is available at the Competitive Island every day between now and December 19th, allowing players to climb the leaderboards, get rewards, and complete weekly battle pass challenges. The usual battle pass goodies like fragments, gems, and chests are on offer, while additional cosmetic rewards can be earned for those who buy into the gold or platinum passes.
This new chapter of the season obviously means that everyone’s leaderboard ranking is reset to zero, so those who really care about that sort of thing are likely going to want to get back in there and climb that ladder all over again.
