Valentine’s Day and lunar new year events are flying in MMOs this week, but Daybreak’s DC Universe Online studio, Dimensional Ink, has recognized yet another reason to celebrate: Black History Month. And it’s not just paying the occasion lip service; it’s literally promoting inclusion within the game itself by granting a quad of Black-friendly hairdos to players who log in during the month of February.
“Diversity and inclusion are core principles here at Dimensional Ink, so the addition of these styles is one small way we can show our support and invite more diverse representation in the characters we all can make in the worlds of DC Universe Online,” the team says.
We spy two dreadlock ‘dos, a frohawk, and some cute braided buns. Just make sure you grab them before February 29th.
