Jagex looks to be in a big sweeping changes mood. Hot on the heels of RuneScape’s combat updates, the studio is now looking to begin work on its Project Rebalance effort for Old School RuneScape, starting first with several skilling adjustments.

The preview post goes over a number of planned changes to the Agility, Thieving, Slayer, and Mining skill lines, with updates that touch a wide assortment of activities like agility course tweaks, mining minigame updates, changes to the Slayer task list, and adjustments for pickpocketing and lifting goods out of stalls. It all closes with a player survey about the myriad things being discussed, though it doesn’t provide information about release timing past open beta testing in April.

As for RuneScape, this week’s update is also about tweaking things, with more updates to combat, Kandarin visuals, and a cleanup of certain quest requirements, among several other things.
