Hey there, World of Warcraft fans! Do you want to talk about Plunderstorm? The developers want to talk about Plunderstorm. Look, we’re talking about Plunderstorm, deal with it. That talk starts with having a big pile of tuning adjustments like making Fire Whirl slower, Explosive Caltrops smaller, and Star Bomb faster. You know, making the really dominant stuff less so and the neat stuff that isn’t seeing as much use more potent. You know what design tweaks are.

Meanwhile, the roundup of posts from the blue staff posts and elsewhere is all about Plunderstorm, from responses to the community council to showing off the new Plunderstorm forums (which actually include a fair amount of grousing along with some measured feedback). All of this is good news if you’ve been neck-deep in piratical combat since the game mode came out this week and perhaps less interesting if you are, instead, waiting for someone to reveal that this is a joke for April 1st. (Which it is not, because it’s March 22nd.)
