The Fallout franchise really is taking the world by storm this month, largely thanks to the super-successful Amazon Prime series (which already has been renewed for a second season). And since a rising tide lifts all boats, the popularity of the TV show has given new life to all of the Fallout games, with Fallout 76 and Fallout 4 enjoying the biggest bump.

In fact, Bethesda announced on April 23rd that Fallout 76 saw over a million players log into the game over the course of a single day. They may not be able to talk to each other, but by gum, they’re able to play together!

The studio also said that five million players flooded into Fallout games across the entire franchise during that same period of time. It’s an exciting time to be a Fallout 76 player, too, as Bethesda currently is testing the Skyline Valley update.
