Last week, multiplayer platform fighter MultiVersus announced that it was adding the Joker to its roster, even getting actor Mark Hamill to reprise his role after he said he was retiring his turn as the character. That reveal was all cinematics and no in-game action, however, but now that’s changed with some fresh new gameplay of the Clown Prince of Crime.
Player First Games describes Joker as a Mage class character who wields all of the toy-like destructive weapons one might expect of him, including a a weaponized pogo stick, spring-loaded boxing gloves, a rocket launcher, and more. The video also grants a preview of a couple of skins for the character based on The Man Who Laughs and The Dark Prince Charming comics.
MultiVersus is preparing to relaunch on May 28th after its monetized open beta was unceremoniously shut down last year. And as you can see in the video below, it’s bringing the big top clown with it.
