Whether you’re feeling hot or cold this summer, Lord of the Rings Online has a festival for you. Today the MMO is releasing Update 40.1 with the reprise of both the Midsummer and Yuletide festivals through June 25th. And yes, this includes the return of daily Yule Hobbit Presents with some new rewards.
LOTRO players who missed out on last year’s Yuletide festival should find this one easier to complete: “Also, A Festive Flurry quests now each require three completions of the daily quest In the Spirit of Yule, down from four. Completing A Fortune of Festive Spirit” now requires a total of 12 days of participation in the Yuletide Festival, down from 16,” the studio said.
Meanwhile, Standing Stone Games is readying the Lore-master for extensive class changes with the next big update. Some of these adjustments include stronger pets in the blue line, player-activated pet skills, normalized induction speeds, and tweaks to many abilities.
