Rejoice: Diablo IV buffs classes across the board and nerfs The Pit

In all virtual worlds, there are buffs and there are nerfs. Both are inevitable, but you generally like to see the former and dread the latter. Happily for you carefree, whimsical Diablo IV fans, Blizzard is waving its Wand of Buffing (that sounds wrong) over the game with yesterday’s patch.

“We greatly appreciate everyone’s excitement since the launch of Season 4 and are very happy with the state of the game,” the studio said. “The changes in this patch are aimed at buffing classes and builds that are not performing as well as their counterparts. We are also slightly reducing the difficulty of the Pit to ensure that most builds are able to get to Tier 60 to get their final tier of Masterworking materials.”

Among some of the improvements are strong healing potions, a reduction of stat requirements on the Paragon Board, and pretty much every class getting many improvements to their skills and legendary aspects. The studio also reduced mob health and damage levels in The Pit “so more players can enjoy a smoother endgame progression experience.”
