The highlight for Version 4.1 is Anka and the aforementioned bat, which is capable of dealing both physical and fire damage because this is a video game. Anka’s arrival also means that there’s a new simulacrum-specific story that focuses on Anka’s past, the criminal organization Wednesday, and why players are joining with them, along with the promise of a reveal for the next step in the Gesthos Sector story arc.
On top of the new character, the update launches multiple events that award materials, currencies, cosmetics, and gacha draws. The patch has also added a new boss fight in the form of the Phantasmic Scorpion as well as new and upcoming instances. It’s all outlined in the latest patch notes.
