The next mid-season patch for Skull and Bones is on the horizon, but players of the game are getting an advance look at some of the things that are coming thanks to a Reddit address from Ubisoft Singapore ahead of the patch’s August 6th launch.

The preview grants a general overview of changes that are planned for the snappily named Y1S2.2 update, including increased warehouse space, new filters for warehouses and vendors, the ability to purchase more ammo from vendors, and a number of balance updates to food effects, specific ship weapons like culverins and long guns, and specific ship items, armor, perks, all of which sound as if they’ll be falling on the buff end of the scale.

On top of these adjustments, the devs have confirmed that several “critical fixes” to the game are scheduled to arrive with this update. This leads into the studio’s promise that it is taking steps to limit the number of such problems as the game moves toward Season 3.

Fans of S&B can look forward to full patch notes on Monday, August 5th, but for now there’s a broad-strokes look at what’s on the docket.
