Pax Dei is working on soloable PvE content, a HUD compass, and combat responsiveness for next updates

Pax Dei is continuing its information onslaught in Discord as Mainframe Industries took the opportunity this morning to post a state-of-the-game memo to social media and Discord.

“During the weeks following the Early Access launch, our teams have been focusing on fixing major issues and bugs to make your experience in-game smoother,” the studio writes. “Now that most major issues have been taken care of, it’s time to focus on developing content and features again.”

For starters, that includes a small patch next week that touches on signs, mez, buggy bears, and “an issue where corpses could spawn in the air and become unrecoverable,” which seems… bad.

But the next big content drops beyond that have a lot more packed into them; Mainframe is promising updates to combat feel and responsiveness, expanded PvP, a chat overhaul, a crafting “compendium,” village marketplaces, new building tiers and sets, engine updates, plot permissions, a proper HUD compass, further localization, and soloable PvE content. Yep, you read that right.

“Soloable PvE content: We’re adding a series of PvE sites to the world with a focus on a fun experience when soloing PvE, which allows you to earn gold and buy kit from other players. We’re hoping this will improve the game for those of you who want to craft a bit less and fight a bit more.”
