Palia seems to have gotten its second wind (or second chance) following the Daybreak buyout earlier this summer – and Singularity 6 has been taking advantage of this increased attention, too, with dev blogs on the beta mini-MMO’s near and far future.
And speaking of the far future, the studio revealed something pretty big coming early next year: the game’s third zone, Elderwood.
“Elderwood is an expansive, gorgeous, and potentially somewhat devious new zone set in the world of Palia that will challenge player’s conceptions of Flow, the Majiri, and the role humans play in the whimsical world of Palia,” said Singularity 6. “Elderwood will introduce new mainline quests, gameplay elements, and many hours of adventure for you and your friends to enjoy!”
The studio said that Palia’s seen over a million home tours in the first day of that feature’s launch. Other future-looking plans include a house featuring system, higher decor limits, potato pod plushies, and a search feature for workbench and storage.
