If you’re staring wide-eyed and unblinking in the direction of Chrono Odyssey, hoping to spot a release date? Well you probably should blink a few times because it doesn’t sound like that information is coming soon. That’s a part of a letter from producer Yun Sang Tae, who begs players for just a bit more patience in regard to release timing details.
“Our development team has dedicated countless hours to perfecting Chrono Odyssey. As a result, many parts of the game have been developed, and we are steadily approaching completion. Nonetheless, our commitment to refining Chrono Odyssey remains steadfast up to its final release. As an avid gamer myself, I understand the challenge of waiting for a game’s release, but please bear with us a little longer!”
In the meantime, Yun is promising that Chrono Studio will deliver all of the gameplay elements that have been showcased, including about boss fights, the time-altering Chronotector item, the MMO’s “complex characters,” and a gripping narrative. Yun also talked up the reaction from players in recent small-scale tests, which have been generally favorable.
“We are dedicated to creating an exceptional title that meets the expectations of both our players and our development team,” the letter promises. “Your continued support is invaluable to us, and we are determined to meet your expectations.”
