If you’ve played a game on the PlayStation, you know that platinum trophies require a great deal of time and effort in order to pick them up. Single-player or multiplayer games both require a lot of play to acquire these prizes. So it’s going to be hard for Concord players to get platinum trophies with the game shutting down after less than two weeks of operation, but players are certainly going to try, starting by flinging themselves to their deaths at the start of matches.

The idea is that entering Rivalry matches and then immediately forcing an end to the match through mass player death is the most efficient way to earn experience, thus hopefully allowing players to grind out levels and pick up trophies during the very short remaining window of time until the game shuts down. So if you really want a bragging rights reward, this is apparently the play… although the spectacle of people entering matches only to immediately jump to the death zone has a poetry to it, considering the game’s overall arc.
