Readers may recall that when Lost Ark put out its roadmap for upcoming content, the month of November would be highlighted by the addition of hyper awakening skills for classes, which Amazon Games said are new abilities players can earn as quest rewards that fall in-between regular skills and awakening skills in terms of impact. If that little bit of paragraph didn’t provide enough meat for you to gnaw on, then you’ll be pleased to learn that a fan has put together a video showcase for these upcoming new buttons.
The nearly 22 minute-long video package provides a look at the upcoming new abilities for every class in the game, complete with 4K resolution, slow motion, and unlicensed butt rock for maximum epicosity.
Most of these abilities appear to involve the character cinematically posing in order to call down some form of humongous strike, whether it’s a giant weapon or in the case of the Blaster summoning a missile barrage from a mech suit, though we will award points to the Bard class, which literally plays a piano solo that blows up enemies. In other LA news, Amazon has confirmed the end date of Proving Grounds Season 5, which will wrap up on October 9th, so those who are hungry to climb the ranked PvP leaderboard only have a few weeks left to do so. And of course, the Chase the Storm update drops in the west as of tomorrow.
