Tarisland is adding a roguelike mode and a ‘Fair Raid’ mode in tomorrow’s Blight Dragon Elegy

We’re a day away from Tarisland launching its first full season’s worth of content, which means that Tencent is continuing to hype up what’s coming with another video that elaborates on the gameplay features players can expect.

A large amount of the video’s run time is mostly filler, talking up a friend referral program, repeating the storyline behind the Scardino Icefield zone that arrives with the update, briefly running down the dungeons and raids that will be on offer, and calling attention to the catch-up features, rules, and shared account benefits.

The video isn’t just a synopsis, however, as it does announce the release of several new PvE modes: Temple Maze, a solo or group-based roguelike mode with stat balancing; Twisted Dreamland, a new Arcane Realm challenge where players can specify their affixes; the Fair Raid mode that lets players select pre-built classes and specs for “a totally balanced raid challenge”; and the permanent arrival of Raid Floor Race and Arcane Floor Race modes. The video also promises a new team battle mode for PvP and fresh boss battles for guilds.
