If you’ve been watching Digital Extremes talk up Soulframe’s preludes testing phases over the last few months, then this might be your moment, as the studio is planning to open up the preludes to a whole lot more people.

“Welcome, brave soul, to the Isle of Midrath,” the team writes. “By invitation or by chance, you’ve been called to join us in the Soulframe Preludes—a place still forming, with echoes of what is still to come. Each week, 2,000 Envoys who have signed up on soulframe.com are welcomed into Preludes. With each invite email comes an additional four (4) invitation codes to share.”

That works out to 10,000 new bodies per week, assuming all those extra codes are distributed and used. Signups are on the official site.

Soulframe is Digital Extremes’ first major title since Warframe, though it’s an even more RPG-centric design with a fantasy flavor. A proper pre-alpha is expected in 2025.
