The date is rapidly approaching for Diablo IV to begin testing its first big expansion update, as Patch 2.1 will go onto the public test realm from December 3rd through the 10th.
There is a lot to test here, too, starting with the new armory system that allows players to save, load, name, and swap builds on their characters. Players will be given five loadout slots per character.
Also coming with the 2.1 preview are different schools of witchcraft to learn, a new “gruesome” enemy called the Headrotten, powerful occult gems, and several new runes, legendary aspects, and items.
