Supervive releases a roadmap through June – and a plan for temporary custom games

We certainly didn’t have “Supervive becomes the battle royale shooter of the moment” on our 2024 bingo cards, but apparently we should have as the game just continues to blow up, even before it’s formally launched.

Earlier this week, we noted that the game had scored a peak concurrency of 47K players over its first weekend, but Theorycraft Games has been more than willing to share more numbers: The studio now says it’s tripled its playerbase since October and “crossed the one million lifetime player milestone” since development began.

We’re also getting an updated roadmap, and unlike some of the abbreviated roadmaps we’ve seen out of teams over the last month or so, this one runs all the way into June 2025. Q1 promises an experimental game mode, map gameplay updates, new hunters, and an overhaul of ranking and rewards, while Q2 heralds additional new hunters, cosmetics, and hunter model updates.

But in the near future – i.e., November and December – players can expect a holiday-themed map for the Cosmic Winter Jubilee event. “This December, we’d like to invite you all to our Cosmic Winter Jubilee,” Theorycraft says. “With it will come new Powers, new Storm Shifts, new game mechanics, new cosmetics, and thematic changes to the Breach (that’s our map). You might also meet someone… new in your adventures. Who says no to free gifts?”

Finally, in the even-nearer future, there’s today’s beta patch, which includes a temporary ranked solution for the leaderboards: temporary custom game lobbies for top players.
