Pax Dei’s communications team has its hands full this week with upcoming and arriving updates in the early access MMO. One of these covers “concerns and suggestions” following the recent integration of Discord’s chat system into the game.
The team said that it’s investigating ways to create an anonymous mode if players don’t want to be sharing their Discord account names, although players don’t have to be linking these two accounts together if they don’t desire it. Other upcoming improvements include general chat filter settings, better friends lists, and being more clear with who has access to players’ Discord data.
Pax Dei’s team also answered a slew of questions about the recent economy patch and upcoming market overhaul. The skill cap was adjusted down from 41 to 40 as the “41” was a bug, alchemy is intended to be tough as tree bark, some item stacks will be adjusted in size, and “jewelry is planned to get a glow-up by spring next year.” As for the market update, there’s no set release window for it as the team is dedicated to pushing it live only when it’s ready.
