Camelot Unchained continues work on optimization, characters 2.0, and animation 2.0

The folks at City State Entertainment are back again for another weekly Camelot Unchained Top Tenish update. This week is largely more of the same as the past couple of weeks, with additional progress being made on developing the game’s new Coherent UI and improving the ability builder system to make it easier for the devs to create and tweak abilities behind-the-scenes. Meanwhile, the art and animation projects known as Characters 2.0 and Animation 2.0 continue chugging along as well.

On the mechanical front, the stat system has received some further adjustments following last week’s optimization updates, making stats “more designer-drive, hooking them up to our ECTs, and getting them ready be integrated into the skills that [the team is] working on.” And as always, the update news is accompanied by a selection of art previews, including updated character models, some lovely beech trees, and a selection of updated crafting UI concepts. You can check out the full post for all the details on this week’s development updates, or head on down below for some extended discussion in this week’s End-of-Week Q&A video.
