If you wanted to clear your criminal record in Star Citizen, you had to head to Security Post Karesh, take out some AI enemies, and hope that there weren’t some player enemies in the mix as well. With patch 3.6, however, there’s a new way to get rid of that pesky CrimeStat and all of the burdens it hits you with like being rudely shot by guards the moment you land in a reputable system, and MOP reader deekay_zero has got the footage.
In this gameplay video, deekay has you ride along as he heads to the Lyria Security Post in order to clear charges of homicide leveraged against him. This new security outpost appears to be similar to SPK in that you have to clear out AI enemies in order to hack a terminal to clear your record, but the fact that this is in a new location that appears to be largely unguarded by players (for now) could open up some options for the criminally-minded Star Citizen. Or require that the lawful good player consider another place to patrol, depending on where your proclivities lie.
It’s nearly an hour’s worth of footage of the adventure from start to finish, all backed by a dope synthwave soundtrack, and it’s all embedded below.
