Screenshots of the early access survival RPG Craftopia are generally bright, colorful, and inviting, and not exactly what one associates with a vision of Hell. That perception should probably change, though, as one of the game’s most recent updates apparently is sending players to Hell. Presumably to harvest resources and fight evil.
Hell, in this case, is associated with level five and above islands where new Hell Islands can be discovered and traveled to. According to the patch notes, creatures and environments in these islands are not normal and players should be prepared. The notes also point out that these new islands are still under construction and additional features will be added later. That same update has also added a poison swamp map, new materials, weapons, and items, a number of new skills, and the addition of a fifth Era among other features.
Shortly after that, Craftopia added another larger patch that introduced a refining system that lets players refine weapons by using a similar weapon and Refining Stones. There have been several smaller patches over the past few days addressing minor balance adjustments and bugfixes.
