If you’re still wondering what exactly the dissolution of year-long story arcs will mean for the future of The Elder Scrolls Online, you won’t be left confused for much longer: ZeniMax Online Studios announced this morning that it’ll take the wraps off the game’s 2023 outlook on January 25th at 3 p.m. EST – two weeks from today.
Among other things, we’ll be expecting the reveal of the game’s 2023 spring expansion, which hardcore lore YouTubers have speculated might see a return to Telvanni-held territories of Morrowind, long a popular and nostalgic destination for the franchise.
Our own Elder Scrolls Online column recently dived into the state of the game and its weirdly weak 2022. “Elder Scrolls Online needs to charge uphill this year,” MOP’s Justin wrote. “It must establish momentum of enthusiasm, vision, and execution — and then keep it going.”
One day. Two packed back-to-back events.
