Enshrouded’s 2024 roadmap promises dungeons, farming, functioning chairs, biomes, and water

When it comes to adding updates to a survival sandbox (or any MMO/multiplayer game), it’s generally a good idea to cast a wide net. The net being thrown out by Enshrouded is wide indeed, as the game’s 2024 update roadmap covers the gamut from furniture to biomes, dungeons to water, cosmetics to quests, and nearly everything else in between.

The roadmap in question is intentionally vague in terms of release timing, with developer Keen Games trying to mitigate the “push-and-pull of wanting to keep [players] interested, without over-promising on [the studio’s] capacity to deliver,” yet it also has a lengthy list of planned additions. Some of these promised features include vanity items, farming gameplay, the ability to sit in chairs, Hollow Halls dungeons along with additional instanced dungeons, the ability to share and visit bases, and more biomes including a mountainous region.

Keen Games points out that the roadmap as presented is “a living and breathing thing,” meaning features will shift over the course of early access, but it also promises another update this month. For now, the full roadmap can be seen by clicking the image below.
