Brighter Shores shares load testing and new screenshots as it marches towards early access

If you’re hearing the loud clanging of hammers and the rattling torquing of wrenches, that’s just Brighter Shores doing a bit of tuning up and testing as it makes its way to early access next month and a closed beta this month.

Lead developer Andrew Gower has shared a brief look at server load testing, which features a bunch of simulated players milling about doing things like gathering or dancing. The testing ended up being worthwhile as it uncovered some new bugs that the team at Fen Research had to clear away, followed by a cheeky joke by Gower about how the dev running load testing had to be banned for botting.

Meanwhile, the game’s earlier press release and Steam page showcase new images teasing content, including some shopping, battling, and one of the passive activities involving battling monsters in a dungeon room that persists after logout.
