There’s something to be said about splashy introductions being tossed aside for succinct and forthright descriptions, and that most certainly is the first impression granted by Clash of Adventurers, a developing sandbox MMORPG from indie studio Devslandsoft that pretty much just lays it all out. For example, here’s the game’s summary from its Steam page:
“Open World MMORPG, Free to Play, PvP, PvE, Craft, Trade, Quests, One class perform only one role (Attack, Defend or Support)”
The brusque nature of development updates continues on its Steam news hub as it marks progress on things like chat alerts, NPCs, the introduction of a party system, and the creation of peaceful and hostile zones (so yes, there will be open world PvP).
The game’s website also outlines the features that have been completed and still in-progress in order to bring COA to an open pre-alpha state, which was also discussed in a video from last December. The studio is currently eyeing a release for sometime in the fourth quarter of this year.
