ArenaNet has a Guild Wars 2 lore teaser up on the official site today in the form of a scholar’s log penned by the adorbs Taimi herself deep in Rata Novus.
Taimi writes that she’s researching a system to track the flow of magic in Rata Novus and says that the egg chamber is getting brighter. There’s a bit of shade for Caithe, too.
“I’ve observed that the egg chamber is definitely brighter than it was. Caithe told me she was going to check on the egg and make sure it was okay. (Note: Of course she is.) I have a hypothesis about her Wyld Hunt, but I’ll keep that to myself in case this journal ever gets away from me. (If it does and you’re reading it, Caithe: Hi, friend! You’re the greatest and you always make the best decisions!) (Commander, if you’re reading this: wink, wink.)”
It sounds as if she’s made a friend, aptly named Plant, to keep her from getting too lonely, but she’s pulled away from her journal at an odd sound. Curiouser and curiouser.
