In case you missed it, Villagers & Heroes got a facelift earlier this month. The fantasy sandbox from Mad Otter Games is now known as Villagers & Heroes Reborn, the better to illustrate its transition from browser title to full-fledged MMO territory.
V&HR “focuses on the interaction between different kinds of activities, combat and crafting,” explains Mad Otter CEO (and Dynamix founder) Damon Slye in an interview with MOTD Media. “The focus is on having a real economy where different activities interact with each other in different ways. This all comes together in the village.”
The update also removed the much-hated energy mechanic, overhauled the UI, and upgraded the character creation process.
