Overwatch’s launch is just a little over a month away, and those are sure to be busy for developers. If you’re curious to know what’s in the plan for these upcoming 30-odd days, Game director Jeff Kaplan discusses just that in the Road to Launch update video you can watch below.
In the video, Kaplan explained that players will see fewer radical changes as the game is prepped for open beta the first week of May, and the emphasis will be on stability and bug fixes. In the next breath, he assured players that the team would be back to “adding new cool and fun features to the game after launch.” Kaplan mentioned competitive modes, a spectator mode, and new maps and heroes for post-launch updates.
