World of Warcraft further tweaks invasion XP, gives a sneak ‘peak’ of Highmountain

More fine-tuning of World of Warcraft’s demon invasions is coming today, as Blizzard said that it is making a couple of fixes to how XP is being doled out after mobs are killed. Apparently there are bugs that have been robbing players of those precious points, so hopefully after today those bugs will be history.

The studio continues to roll out its Legion zone previews by posting a tour of Highmountain yesteray. Highmountain should be a treat for fans of the Tauren, as this “rugged and beautiful” area is home to no less than three tribes (and no more than three either). The devs call it an explorer-friendly zone, with lots of secret passages and a hike up to the top of an Everest-like mountain.

Players are also in for a surprise when they encounter the locals: “After receiving the Blessing of Cenarius, the Tauren here have changed — they have moose horns instead of normal Tauren horns, among other things — and we think players will enjoy getting to see a unique take on one of the game’s most familiar races.”
