CCP plans subscriber rewards ahead of EVE Online’s F2P conversion

If you are an EVE Online subber who’s been feeling a bit “what’s in it for me” about theĀ free-to-play switchover happening this autumn, well, here’s what’s in it for you: a whole bunch of elite loot that you can lord over freeps and lapsed subbers alike.

The studio sent out an email blast earlier today to announce that players who are subbed before September 16th — and hold onto that sub into November’s patch — will be granted a battlecruiser, shuttle, special skins, special armor and goggles, and (maybe?) another new ship. Oh right, and a whole content expansion too, but goggles.
