A gold treasure chest would be pretty useless. Leaving aside the fact that gold is a soft metal and making a treasure chest out of it would be not very secure and way too heavy, anything you could put in the treasure chest would likely to be less valuable than the chest itself. Of course, the complaints that players have about the gold chests being added to Black Desert with today’s patch have less to do with the impracticality of the storage medium and more to do with the likelihood of seeing one and the cost of keys to open them (100 silver keys), but the thought is there.
Players will also have access to a new level 50 guide feature explaining what activities players can take part in once they hit the big five-oh. There’s also a new Warranty Event running along with preparations for a Valentine’s Day event, so that’s something more for players to do.
