Fair warning: It’s almost April Fools’ Day, which means lots of game studios are going to start pranks and silly-themed events, and they’re going to do it early since April Fools’ Day this year is on Easter Sunday. One such MMO studio is ZeniMax, which is kicking off its Elder Scrolls Online event this coming Thursday. Appropriately, it’s called The Jester’s Festival.

“If you want to take part in the silly season, make your way to the pavilions located outside the cities of Ebonheart, Vulkhel Guard, and Daggerfall,” ZeniMax says. “When you arrive, strike up a conversation with one of the three Jesters dressed as either Jorunn the Skald-King, Queen Ayrenn, or High King Emeric (don’t worry, they’re not the real thing). Complete the intro quest titled ‘The Jester’s Festival’ to acquire the powerful not-a-Daedric artifact known as the Pie of Misrule.”

If you ran the quest last year, you can skip that part this year to snag your XP buff pie. And on the daily, you can grab a “Jester’s Festival Box” with an assortment of consumables, mementos, recipes, and housing items. The event runs only to Monday, so hop to it!
