WRUP: Offending the God of Rabbits has worked out pretty much fine edition

Here is a perfectly fine picture of a bunny.

So as you know, last week we managed to direly offend the God of Rabbits, which is remarkable partly insofar as I had expected us to offend more deities. This is actually better than we could have hoped for. Still, the rabbit god was very mad, and he wrought a mighty curse upon us.

Except, well… it was a curse for rabbits. So, for example, the curse to have predators never fail to see you when you’re still? That part was really kind of a wash, my cats saw me then anyway. I’m not sure if the part of the curse wherein I will never enjoy the taste of clover is even working or not. And since I don’t live in a burrow, having a damp burrow doesn’t appear to have actually happened.

In short, offending the God of Rabbits has worked out pretty much fine. Let us know how any deific curses you’re working through are going in this week’s What Are You Playing, or just let us know what you’re up to for the weekend.

Andrew Ross (@dengarsw): Pokemon Go is happening as usual. It’s nice since it’s brought back a few lapsed friends. I also have a console gaming party on Saturday, so that probably means at least Smash Bros and possibly Overcooked (and more).

Brianna Royce (@nbrianna, blog): Honestly I’ve been dealing with trolls and abuse far into the night every night this week and I really just need a break from how ugly gaming is. My Saturday is taken up by a party anyway. I did promise my kid I’d play Trove and we’d go to Geode, so I’ll probably do that if I do anything. Trion gets my money right now.

Eliot Lefebvre (@Eliot_Lefebvre, blog): I’ve got my usual stuff in Final Fantasy XIV, a little pre-expansion prep in World of Warcraft, and the realization that I could unlock a bunch of extra classes in Granblue Fantasy which I thought would not be available until later. (Is my face ever red.) Also, there are two new PS4 games sitting in my television room. Tons of stuff to do.

Patron Pierre: I’m upgrading my gaming PC with a new i7 8700K CPU, an M.2 SSD drive and an ASUS GTX 1080 Ti OC graphic card, so basically building a new PC from scratch, as I will only keep the tower and the power supply from the previous one. I love building a new PC: this satisfaction feeling when you push the power on button and everything lights on as expected. I must say assembling a PC these days is extremely simple, the most complex part being the huge CPU fan (I bought a Noctua DH15 for those who are into it) but even this part is not so difficult if you’re careful and patient enough. Then, if I’m fast enough reinstalling the OS and all the softwares (that’s the longest most boring part of the process to be honest), I’ll go back playing State of Decay 2 and Destiny 2. No MMO for me this weekend, except if you consider Destiny 2 a MMO, which is almost the case for me. I’m with a great clan; we often play together and I must admit I’ve grouped for IG activities more often in Destiny 2 than in any other MMO I played recently. Enjoy your gaming weekend, dear MOP readers!
