The anniversary event for Star Trek Online has just about wrapped up, but starting on March 5th, a new year-long event campaign is kicking off with a return to the Battle at the Binary Stars. This first event runs from March 5th until March 26th, with daily clears of the aforementioned battle TFO at any difficulty counting for overall event progress. 14 days of progress unlocks a new universal kit, a non-combat drone, 25,000 Dilithium, and three featured TFO reward boxes. You’ll also be able to get your choice of marks rewarded from the TFO instead of Discovery Marks, if you prefer.

As for the new overarching event, players can still earn a free T6 ship coupon for clearing four separate events, or they can pick up a free 1000 Lobi crystals (the T6 ship earns 200 crystals as well). There’s also new scaling for event progress after the main goal has been completed, ensuring that players will get larger amounts of ongoing scaled rewards over time. Check out the full rundown ahead of the event itself kicking off next Thursday. You could also check our recap of some neat things the game’s done with the lore, if you’re so inclined.
