The folks at Digital Extremes are doing the work-from-home thing, and they’re also continuing to do the devstream-from-home thing in the most recent livestream, which touched on a wide variety of Warframe topics such as the upcoming TennoCon digital event, the next part of Nightwave, as well as some other general updates.
During the stream it was revealed that Nightwave 3: Glassmaker should be arriving to all platforms this week, assuming the console builds pass their appropriate certifications. As for future releases, the Deadlock Protocol is set for sometime in May or possibly June.
There was also word on a “hard mode” for the shooter in the works that will let players take on basic mission nodes on the system chart in Hard or Ultra Hard, which raise enemy levels by 50 or 100 respectively. Taking on these new modes will reward better XP and loot as well as offer up trophies for clearing each region.
The stream also touched on TennoCon, which announced its shift to a digital event in March. The devs admitted that they still don’t know what to expect for the event, but they are promising a great event regardless. Some things to note are that the Duviri Paradox that was showed off at last year’s TennoCon is being pushed back into 2021, and the digital pack for TennoCon is arriving this week with a variety of cosmetic goodies that were showed off in the stream.
The stream also took a look at the deluxe versions of Ash, Khora, and Garuda, offered a peek at the most and least popular ‘frames used during Scarlet Spear, and discussed Intrinsics and mission variety work for Railjack Reloaded. The complete stream is embedded below.
