Cryptic’s MMOs will be offline much of June 23 and 25 for lengthy maintenance

Bye forever!

We hope that you hadn’t earmarked long stretches of time to play the various MMOs by Cryptic Studios on Tuesday or Thursday. The team’s games (which means Neverwinter, Star Trek Online, and Champions Online) will be going down for extended maintenance on both days, starting at 8:00 a.m. EDT and ending at 2:00 p.m. EDT. During this time, all of these titles will be unavailable to play.

Fortunately, this downtime is not universal across platforms; the June 23rd maintenance is for the games’ console versions, while June 25th will mark the extended downtime for PC users. So you’ll only have to deal with one extended time offline, which is somewhat fortunate. Perhaps even more so for Champions Online fans, as the game has already brought out its next time-limited standalone trial for a boss from Therakiel’s Lair. If you haven’t faced Black Fang in his standalone fight yet, hey, you’ve got a few more days before that maintenance.
