If you like your dungeon crawler hack n’ slash games more pixelated and challenging, then you might be familiar with Hammerwatch, a game that was released in 2013 to some overall high acclaim judging on critical and Steam user reviews. A sequel was released on PC in 2018 called Heroes of Hammerwatch, making it more of a twin-stick bullet hell ARPG.

Now, developer Crackshell and publisher BlitWorks are bringing the game to Xbox One and Nintendo Switch owners in the form of an Ultimate Edition that packs in the base game and all three DLCs in one. The press announcement touts four-player online co-op, nine different classes, a New Game+ mode, and persistent progression with a town that can have its buildings upgraded to make your chosen character stronger.

Heroes of Hammerwatch will arrive to Nintendo Switch on July 30th, Xbox One on July 31st, and PS4 a few months later. If you’re not familiar with this one, a gameplay trailer is available below.
