So you’re out in the field in New World, and you’re not lost per se, but you’re frustrated. All you want is a lynx! You need some lynx! But you keep not finding them. Where can you go to find a lynx? Perhaps this new interactive map made by fans and for fans at Newworld-map.com can help you out! It tracks things like that, so anyone desperately seeking cats may use it to locate a new furry friend. (Although, like… that lynx will probably not be your friend.)
Of course the map does track things other than just critters. It also tracks other points of interest like supply crates, mineral veins, enemy camps, and so forth. It’s quite useful if you want to plot out where you’re exploring and have a desire to know what you’re likely to find once you get there. Check the whole thing out even if you’re not in the preview, in fact. It’s very nicely made.
Hello adventurers ! #NewWorldPreview
I am announcing the opening of the first interactive map for New World. This map will allow you to quickly find various resources, Npc, spots.
The map is not complete but you can participate and help us complete it!https://t.co/7dkd1yITLU— NewWorld Map (@NewWorld_Map) August 25, 2020
This isn’t the first interactive map; they’ve been around for over a year now. There are three or four getting hyped in-game at the moment (gotta get that sweet, sweet ad/donation money while the getting is good).
Gotta wonder how anyone could amass this much data in such a short time. Yea I know there was a previous beta, but this is huge.
Also, as useful as this is, I think I would prefer if Amazon added a way for me to make my own map markings as I find stuff.
Forgot to hide the chat but I’ve been having some fun. It’s not perfect but pretty good so far. It reminds me a bit of Skyrim/ESO combat and crafting wise.
Thats awesome. Any way to download it?
two wishlist items for MMOs that I’ve had since vanilla, first resource nodes that spawn generally within an area or eco/geotype instead of persistent nodes that can be camped, and NPC mobs that actually do more than roam around just outside the aggro radius of other NPCs
so while the fan map is very useful I keep hoping for more realistic NPC animal behavior and resource nodes that spawn randomly within an area
How are you capturing pics I can’t seem to figure out a way nor can I figure out how to get rid of the UI. Thanks :D
I use NVidia, if you can eliminate the UI let me know
Will do thanks!
I’m not sure where i read this from, but I think it’s left control + H?
It’s supposed to temporarily toggle off UI, but not sure if I read that for this game or something else,
Thank You!
WIN+SHIFT+S is a universal windows 10 shortcut, sends it to the clipboard, open it in the notifications
Thank you!
