The Stream Team: Playing with fire and factions in New World

Massively OP’s MJ made it to the city in New World. Well, a settlement at least. And here she needs to make her choice as to which faction to join: Marauder, Covenant, or Syndicate. Once she selects, she’ll either run missions for the settlement or just take off overland and explore. It doesn’t matter which, as long as she gets to use her new fire staff to make things burn! Tune in live at 2:00 p.m. for a last look at this preview (and plenty of fun with fire!).

its been an interesting preview knowing the folks down in analytics are scrutinizing everyone and everything in order to find out what this game is going to be

A few things:

– pressing shift will make you climb, vault and leap over objects and low rocks (bout 30 cm higher than you), same with auto run

– pressing Y will let you camp, where you can restore your health and craft (food for example)

– try to spend your skill points and mastery points, they make a difference (flashing K)

– and try using your specials ;)

– also spend your reputation points (flashing M) to get benefits while in that area (faster gathering , more xp etc)

Have fun!

NVM I finished the video and saw you got that :)

OH and you can totally climb up mountains like an action game, just forget about using space bar, unless you want to leap over a chasm (running plus space bar)
